In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 8-3 victory over the Hinsdale South Hornets.
The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Rita (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, St. Rita was overwhelmed by Lockport (Lockport, IL), 10-3, in a non-league game.
