The Moberly Spartans baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Mark Twain Tigers to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Southern Boone (Ashland, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 2-0 record.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Missouri Military Academy (Mexico, MO). The Fighting Colonels go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Missouri Military Academy was overwhelmed by Van-Far (Vandalia, MO), 20-0, in a non-league match.
