The Pinecrest Patriots lacrosse team scored 15 points and held the host Apex Cougars to 8 in the Patriots non-league win on Wednesday.
The Patriots (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Vikings go into the United 8/All American/Sandhills match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Union Pines nudged Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 24-3, in a league match.
The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Falcons go into the Southwest Wake match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Green Hope nudged Green Level (Cary, NC), 17-4, in a league match.
