Ninety Six Wildcats (Ninety Six, SC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC), 8-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) in a AA Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, March 21. Ninety Six will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Rebels enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC).
The Bears now possess a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wren for a AAA Region 2 challenge on Monday, March 25. Belton-Honea Path will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 5-2.
