Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO), 3-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Coyotes confront the Green Mountain Rams (Lakewood, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 1. Monarch will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.

The Hawks now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Legacy for a 5A Front Range South challenge on Thursday, March 21. Horizon will confront a Lightning team coming off a 2-0 league win over Boulder (Boulder, CO). The Lightning record now stands at 2-1.
