In Wednesday's non-league game, the Wellington Eagles (Wellington, CO) soccer squad tipped the visiting Nederland Panthers (Nederland, CO), by a count of 1-0.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Sterling (Sterling, CO). The Tigers go into the 3A/2A Patriot game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Sterling was nudged by Gering (Gering, NE), 4-1, in a non-league game.
The Panthers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Clear Creek (Evergreen, CO). The Golddiggers go into the 2A Metro Hills West game with a 0-1 record.
