The East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), 12-3 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Mariners encounter the Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 21. East Carteret will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Hurricanes come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 10-4 non-league win over White Oak (Jacksonville, NC).
