In Wednesday's non-league test, the visiting North Cross Raiders lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Salem Spartans.

The Raiders now have a 1-0 record.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 8. Salem will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
