In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Campo Verde Coyotes (Gilbert, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ), by a margin of 21-2.
With the triumph, Campo Verde moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Coyotes host Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ) to play the Huskies in a non-league contest on Wednesday, March 27. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 7-0.
