Utah High School Softball - Lone Peak gets by Mountain View

The Lone Peak Knights nipped the visiting Mountain View Bruins softball squad by a final score of 9-8 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Corner Canyon (Draper, UT). The Chargers go into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Corner Canyon was edged by Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT), 11-1, in a league battle.

The Bruins now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Orem for a battle on Thursday, March 21.
