In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Deep Run Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Albemarle Patriots.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 5-0 record.
The Patriots (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs go into the Jefferson battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Monticello nipped Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
