Next, the Bears face the Westside Seminoles (Macon, GA) in a 4A Area 2 contest, on Thursday, March 21. Griffin will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Seminoles enter the contest with a 1-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to West Laurens (Dexter, GA).

The Wildcats now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockdale County for a 6A Area 3 contest on Friday, March 22. Lovejoy will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Salem (Conyers, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
