Carondelet Cougars (Concord, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Ramon Valley for a East Bay challenge on Thursday, March 21. Carondelet will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Liberty (Brentwood, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Antioch falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Concord (Concord, CA) to battle the Minutemen in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Minutemen enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Concord lost 17-0 in their recent league challenge against Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA)
