The Empire Ravens softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Benson Bobcats to 0 in the Ravens non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Empire moves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Ravens host Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Tucson, AZ) to clash with the Lions in a 3A South game on Friday, March 22. The Lions come into the game with a record of 3-4. Pusch Ridge Christian Academy lost 9-5 in their recent non-league game against Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ)

In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Willcox Cowboys (Willcox, AZ) in a 2A East game, on Saturday, March 23. Benson will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Cowboys come into the game with a 4-9 record after their 14-11 league win over Tombstone (Tombstone, AZ).
