The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) and the visiting Chester Cyclones (Chester, SC), saw Lancaster's softball squad nip Chester by a count of 4-3.

The Bruins now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northwestern for a AAAA Region 3 match on Tuesday, March 26.

With the loss, Chester falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Clinton (Clinton, SC) to face the Red Devils in a AAA Region 4 match on Thursday, March 21. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 1-2. Clinton lost 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Laurens (Laurens, SC)
