Edison Tigers (Fresno, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Dinuba Emperors (Dinuba, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mission Oak for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22. Edison will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Redwood (Visalia, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Dinuba falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Emperors travel to Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA) to battle the Tribe in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. The Tribe enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Chowchilla won 16-0 in their recent league challenge against Parlier (Parlier, CA)
