The Tigers now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Gillespie for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. Edwardsville will face a Miners squad coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Nokomis (Nokomis, IL). The Miners record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Southwestern falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Piasa birds travel to Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Civic Memorial lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Roxana (Roxana, IL)
