James Buchanan Rockets (Mercersburg, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Fairfield Knights (Fairfield, PA), 10-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Rockets now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern York for a Mid-Penn - Colonial challenge on Tuesday, March 26.

With the loss, Fairfield falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights host West York Area (York, PA) to battle the Bulldogs in a York-Adams 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 26. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 1-2.
