Grantsville Cowboys (Grantsville, UT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting West Panthers (Salt Lake City, UT), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Cowboys now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lehi for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. Grantsville will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, West falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Highland (Salt Lake City, UT) to battle the Rams in a 5A Region 6 challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Highland lost 15-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Cottonwood (Salt Lake City, UT)
