Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Warren County Eagles (Warrenton, NC), 19-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Griffins now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Falls Lake for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. Oxford Prep will face a Firebirds squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Firebirds record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Warren County falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC) to clash with the Tigers in a Tar Roanoke 1A game on Thursday, March 21. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 0-1. Wilson Prep lost 15-0 in their recent league game against Weldon (Weldon, NC)
