The R.J. Reynolds Demons softball team scored 28 runs and limited the visiting Thomasville Bulldogs to 3 in the Demons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, R.J. Reynolds moves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Demons travel to Reagan (Pfafftown, NC) to play the Raiders in a Central Piedmont 4A game on Monday, March 25. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 9-2. Reagan won 15-0 in their recent league game against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC)

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A game, on Thursday, March 21. Thomasville will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 3-2 record after their 15-0 league loss to Salisbury (Salisbury, NC).
