Illinois High School Softball - Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] holds off Salt Fork

Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] Titans (Kansas, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Neoga for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22. Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] will face a Indians squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Dieterich (Dieterich, IL). The Indians record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Salt Fork falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Villa Grove (Villa Grove, IL) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 25. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Villa Grove won 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hoopeston (Hoopeston, IL)
