Colorado High School Baseball - Aspen wallops North Fork

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO) and the host North Fork Miners (Hotchkiss, CO), saw Aspen's baseball team gain a win over North Fork by a tally of 15-5.

The Skiers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Basalt (Basalt, CO). The Longhorns enter the 3A Western Slope battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Basalt prevailed over Moffat County (Craig, CO), 12-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Miners face the Olathe Pirates (Olathe, CO) in a 2A Western Slope battle, on Tuesday, March 25. North Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 25-5 non-league win over Center (Center, CO).
