The Zachary Broncos baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Central Private Redhawks to 0 in the Broncos non-league win on Thursday.
The Broncos now hold a 12-12 record. They take the field next when they host Sumner for a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. Zachary will play a Cowboys team coming off a 8-5 league win over Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Cowboys record now stands at 10-8.
With the defeat, Central Private drops to 12-10 on the year. The Redhawks travel to Brusly (Brusly, LA) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 20-3. Brusly won 11-1 in their recent non-league test against Plaquemine (Plaquemine, LA)
