Arizona High School Baseball - Douglas County defeats West Point

March 20, 2025: Avondale, AZ 85392

The Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) baseball trounced the host West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), 8-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apollo for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. Douglas County will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to San Luis (San Luis, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, West Point drops to 3-3 on the year. The Dragons host Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. The Falcons go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Highlands Ranch lost 7-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Chandler (Chandler, AZ)
