The Durango Demons baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Kirtland Central Broncos to 9 in the Demons non-league win on Thursday.
The Demons now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Aztec for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Durango will play a Tigers team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Smoky Hill (Aurora, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 3-7.
With the defeat, Kirtland Central drops to 5-5 on the year. The Broncos travel to Uintah (Vernal, UT) to play the Utes in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Utes go into the test with a record of 2-5. Uintah lost 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Ridgeline (Millville, UT)
