The Eagles (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hernando (Hernando, MS). The Tigers enter the 7A Region 1 battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Hernando prevailed over Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS), 15-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Rebels face the Mantachie Mustangs (Mantachie, MS) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 22. Hickory Flat will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 5-10 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Hatley (Amory, MS).
