The Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) baseball trounced the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 10-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Pride now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Corvian Community for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Friday, March 21. Pine Lake Prep will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Lake Norman Charter drops to 6-2 on the year. The Knights travel to A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. The Rockets go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. A.C. Reynolds lost 15-1 in their recent league challenge against T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC)
