The Tecumseh Savages (Tecumseh, OK) baseball trounced the host Marietta Indians (Marietta, OK), 9-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Savages now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blanchard for a 4A District 1 challenge on Monday, March 24. Tecumseh will clash with a Lions team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL). The Lions record now stands at 8-1.
With the defeat, Marietta drops to 5-9 on the year. The Indians host Calera (Calera, OK) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Calera lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN)
