The Trico Pioneers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Wesclin Warriors to 10 in the Pioneers non-league win on Thursday.

The Pioneers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Frankfort for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Trico will play a Redbirds team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Redbirds record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Wesclin drops to 0-2 on the year. The Warriors host Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 1-1. Pinckneyville lost 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Waltonville (Waltonville, IL)
