California High School Baseball - Venture Academy nips Weston Ranch

March 20, 2025: Stockton, CA 95206

The Venture Academy Mustangs baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Weston Ranch Cougars to 3 in the Mustangs non-league win on Thursday.

The Mustangs now hold a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host River Islands for a Central California Athletic Alliance test on Monday, March 24. Venture Academy will play a Riptide team coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Lathrop (Lathrop, CA). The Riptide record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Weston Ranch drops to 4-4 on the year. The Cougars host Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. The Knights go into the test with a record of 6-5. Ripon Christian lost 15-0 in their recent league test against Hughson (Hughson, CA)
