In Thursday's league challenge, the host Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Smith Jewish Day School Lions.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD). The Orioles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Maryland School for the Deaf achieved victory over Berman Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD), 3-2, in a league battle.

The Lions now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Varsity Opponent for a battle on Monday, March 24. Smith Jewish Day School will encounter a squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Loganville (Loganville, GA). The record now stands at 6-16.
