Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Montrose Red Hawks (Montrose, CO) and the host Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO), saw Montrose's soccer squad hold off Eagle Valley by a count of 2-1.
The Red Hawks (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Grand Junction (Grand Junction, CO). The Tigers enter the battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Grand Junction tipped Coal Ridge (New Castle, CO), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
