Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA), 16-5 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Mater Dei improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Monarchs host Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA) to play the Oilers in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Oilers come into the game with a record of 4-7. Huntington Beach won 13-4 in their recent non-league game against Canyon (Anaheim, CA)

The Comanches now have a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foothill for a Crestview game on Tuesday, March 25. Canyon will play a Knights team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Higley (Gilbert, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 9-0.
