Miami Country Day Spartans (Miami, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the host Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 8-5 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Miami Country Day advances its record to 6-4 on the season. The Spartans host Ransom Everglades (Miami, FL) to play the Raiders in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 1. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 5-7. Ransom Everglades won 18-14 in their recent non-league game against Archbishop McCarthy (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

The Chiefs now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host NSU University for a 1A D15 game on Friday, March 21. Cardinal Gibbons will play a Sharks team coming off a 20-5 non-league loss to Saint Andrew's (Boca Raton, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 4-8.
