In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Leyden Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Joliet Central Steelmen.
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Solorio (Chicago, IL). The Sun Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Solorio got by Blue Island Eisenhower (Blue Island, IL), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Steelmen confront the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 24. Joliet Central will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
