The Hot Springs Tigers baseball team scored 18 runs and held the host Capitan Tigers to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Thursday.
The Tigers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaparral for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. Hot Springs will play a Lobos team coming off a 8-8 non-league Fabens (Fabens, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Capitan drops to 0-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Magdalena (Magdalena, NM) to play the Steers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. The Steers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
