California High School Baseball - De La Salle sneaks past Liberty

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) and the visiting Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA), saw De La Salle's baseball team get by Liberty by a tally of 8-7.

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Gaels enter the battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Dublin held off San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions face the Castro Valley Trojans (Castro Valley, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 21. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Alameda (Alameda, CA).
