The Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT) baseball the host Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM), 9-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Utes now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kirtland Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. Uintah will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Durango (Durango, CO). The Broncos record now stands at 1-3.
With the defeat, Farmington drops to 2-3 on the year. The Scorpions host Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO) to clash with the Cyclones in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. The Cyclones go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Pueblo West won 19-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Grants (Grants, NM)
