The Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT) baseball trounced the host Nucla Mustangs (Nucla, CO), 12-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Buckaroo now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Juan for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28.
With the defeat, Nucla drops to 0-1 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Dolores (Dolores, CO) to clash with the Bears in a challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Bears go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Dolores lost 13-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Shiprock (Shiprock, NM)
