The Belmont Sentinels softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Roybal Titans to 9 in the Sentinels league win on Thursday.

The Sentinels now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Contreras for a battle on Monday, March 24. Belmont will confront a Cobras team coming off a 14-5 non-league loss to Lincoln (Los Angeles, CA). The Cobras record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Roybal moves to 0-4 on the season. The Titans travel to Hollywood (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Sheiks in a battle on Monday, March 24. The Sheiks come into the battle with a record of 3-1. Hollywood won 16-2 in their recent league battle against Mendez (Los Angeles, CA)
