California High School Softball - Port of Los Angeles can't get by North

North Saxons (Torrance, CA) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA), 9-8 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, North improves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Saxons host Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA) to play the Highlanders in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 25. The Highlanders enter the game with a record of 3-3. Granada Hills Charter won 5-0 in their recent non-league game against West Ranch (Valencia, CA)
The Polar Bears now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host San Pedro for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26. Port of Los Angeles will play a Pirates squad coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
