In Thursday's non-league test, the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) lacrosse team the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), by a count of 8-6.

Next up, the Capitals battle the Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 21. Broughton will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 5-0 record after their 16-1 league win over North Brunswick (Leland, NC).

The Patriots (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC). The Bears enter the United 8/All American/Sandhills test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Gray's Creek was nudged by Union Pines (Cameron, NC), 18-11, in a league test.
