The North Cross Raiders lacrosse team (Roanoke, VA), was overwhelmed 20-8 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA)
With the victory, Glass advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 22. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 1-0. Western Albemarle won 22-5 in their recent non-league battle against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA)
The Raiders now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 25. North Cross will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-0.
