The James Island Trojans lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Philip Simmons Iron Horses to 1 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lucy Beckham for a challenge on Monday, March 24. James Island will clash with a Bengals squad coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Philip Simmons falls to 3-3 on the year. The Iron horses travel to Beaufort (Beaufort, SC) to clash with the Eagles in a 4A-1A Lower challenge on Saturday, March 22. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Beaufort lost 18-1 in their recent league challenge against Bishop England (Charleston, SC)
