Georgia High School Lacrosse - Sequoyah can't hold off Marietta

Marietta Blue Devils (Marietta, GA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team nudge the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA), 6-5 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Marietta advances its record to 6-4 on the season. The Blue Devils host Walton (Marietta, GA) to encounter the Raiders in a 3A Area 4 battle on Thursday, April 3. The Raiders come into the battle with a record of 5-6.
The Chiefs now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodstock for a 2A Area 6 battle on Thursday, March 27. Sequoyah will encounter a Wolverines team coming off a 15-6 league loss to Milton (Milton, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-2.
