Athens Golden Eagles (Athens, AL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lee Generals (Huntsville, AL), 10-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Athens advances its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Buckhorn (New Market, AL) to clash with the Bucks in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Bucks come into the test with a record of 9-4.

The Generals now have a 0-12 record. They take the field next when they host Columbia for a non-league test on Friday, March 21. Lee will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 9-1 non-league win over New Hope (New Hope, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
