The Denbigh Patriots held off the host King's Fork Bulldogs soccer team by a tally of 5-4 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Patriots face the Churchland Truckers (Portsmouth, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 21. Denbigh will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Truckers come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 league win over Norcom (Portsmouth, VA).
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA). The Titans come into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Lake Taylor edged Booker T. Washington (Norfolk, VA), 1-0, in a league game.
