Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Riverdale Raiders (Riverdale, GA) and the host Douglass Astros (Atlanta, GA), saw Riverdale's soccer squad prevail over Douglass by a score of 4-0.
The Raiders (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lithonia (Lithonia, GA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Lithonia by North Springs (Atlanta, GA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Astros confront the Stephenson Jaguars (Stone Mountain, GA) in a 3A Area 5 battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Douglass will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 3-5 record after their 6-3 league loss to Luella (Luella, GA).
