The La Joya Community Fighting Lobos triumphed over the visiting Central Bobcats softball squad by a count of 19-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Lobos meet the Sierra Linda Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ) in a challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. La Joya Community will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 10-3 non-league loss to South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ).

The Bobcats (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against North (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs enter the 5A Metro challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, North was routed by Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ), 15-5, in a non-league challenge.
